IDL Racing Services emerged from David Sharp’s history
of chassis development for engineering customers and can
provide a one-stop shop for anyone participating in motor
sport from race car hire or preparation of customer’s
own cars to training and coaching.

Preparation
Cars
can be prepared at our premises and transported to track
for the day, for customers who do not have the time, space
or experience to so this themselves.

Manufacture
We
have built race car chasses for some years and our particular
expertise lies in tuning these or standard chasses to achieve
best results on the track.

IDL
can repair accident damaged cars or build new kit cars from
scratch.

Day Track Support
We
can provide the complete experience throughout the season
so all the driver needs to do is turn up and go while acquiring
valuable experience of track events.

Instruction & Coaching
Expert
tuition is available from Matt Nicoll-Jones. Matt started
with Formula ford going on to
Formula Renault and became a Formula 3 test driver for
team SYR in 2003 and later moved to the British Clio
Cup. As 2005 Ginetta senior champion,
Matt gained the prestigious BRDC Rising Star membership
along with being named No 1 British sportscar driver
by Motorsport News. He now runs
a team of senior Ginettas in the Havoline championship,
alongside driver tuition with Team IDL in the Junior
Ginetta series.
